Put in a 30/30 gauge tonight, and went to make a couple pulls on the highway to see how accurate the stock gauge was. well on the 2nd pull i went from 21 psi to 13 psi. tried one more time and couldnt make more thn 5 psi. pulled over and noticed the IAT wasnt in the hard pipe anymore. anyone know a way to fix it without just using another rubber grommet? i dont want it to blow out again. ive already looked into the screw in agp sensor...suggestions?

The AGP own isnt a bad idea, I had the same problem. What I did was went to advanced auto and bought a harder rubber grommet that didnt have a hole in it, then I drilled a hole just slightly smaller than the sensor. Jammed that bitch in and havent had a problem since.

x2 Grommet is the only way other than AGP one.

so i was tinkering with my up pipe as i have to put the grommet in an noticed that i have like 3 boost leaks. two are capped vacuum hose ends that have deteriated and the rubber coupler going to the up pipe had a huge tear/chunk missing... guess i should do a boost leak test while im at it?
Here is a fairly true rule about the SRT. Do a boost leak test, fix it, and drive for a week or so. You now have a new boost leak. It is an endless cycle.
so I went to autozone picked up a grommet from the "Help" manufacture and stuck it in the pipe and looks like it worked fairly well I had to trim it a little but turned out good I think
