Final results from the AGP testing (FFP porting on AGP turbo kits)
I wanted to start a new thread to cleanup the original. I will keep the other thread up as reference, but I will make this one a sticky. The original thread can be seen here: Dyno testing for AGP kits
A brief synopsis of the test was to show the effects of portwork and high performance ceramic coatings on overall power and spool in a turbo application. Testing was done on a local SRT-4 owner with a 50-trim and mild mods.
This dyno sheet shows three runs, the lowest is the best run we had with a new agp manifold and turbine housing (unmodified in any way), the next highest shows the effects of portwork (showed ~15tq improvements and ~11hp gains across the entire curve when compared to the unmodified manifold/turbo combo) and the highest version was the manifold and turbine housing that had been ported and ceramic coated (showed ~20tq gains and~ 15hp gains across the curve)
and a few pics of the parts used as well.
A special thanks again to AGP turbo and MA Performance for their cooperation with this test. We were successful in proving that porting DOES improve both airflow quality and overall performance without any sacrifices!! Once again FFP proves that their porting is nothing less than the best (and informative) out there!
