With the right cam and full exhaust, it's very possible for an LS1 to put down those numbers if it's a 6-spd.
that'd have to be a very large cam with a 600 lift of some sort dude and one bomb ass tune...I'm not saying it's out the realm of possibility but just about every ricer throws these parts on now and claims XXX whp with nothing to substantiate it, yea X setup has done XXX whp, but just because you bought his parts list doesn't mean you make XXX whp

The only NA V8 that ever pulled on me was my buddies SS. I pulled a half a car in 2-3 than 4th he got next and creaped by. Basically the same mods to, exhaust, cam, headers, and he also has some nice heads. I belive its 450+ I stay right with stage 3 beat one once but not by much. Weight: im 140 my girl 130 and she was with me, he was alone, hes only 160. But since than ive added some bolts and meth is in the mail, so im ready to run again. But since than he blew his rear, and made some exhaust changes. So hes got new axles and rear, so ill have to get a video of this run.

Never said the cam didn't have to be big. A good custom grind, long tubes w/ true duals, 6-spd, and a good tune will get it done. I've seen it, so I know it's not impossible. I know people who have put down 370whp w/ an LT1, big cam (cc306 or gm847) and full bolt-ons. With an LS1 it's even easier to squeeze more out even with stock heads.

The camaro is a buddy of mines car.
It's a 415ish rwhp cammed camaro, with a built 347. Car has a 200 shot on it which he wasn't running against the Neon that night due to the tune needing modifying.
Those are the real runs. The only video the wishIwuzfast77 posted was the video in which he took a slight jump.
The camaro also has a leaky slave cylinder which he just replaced. He was baby shifting the hell out of the car in these videos... as opposed to his normal shifting.

You gotta think tho Ultra.... and im not dissing thackers camero AT ALL I know its fast even on the motor! But if "wishIwazfast" S3R was using HOM the outcome would of been way different.. Me myself would like to run thacker me on pump and him off the bottle but I live quite far from all you guys .. Plus he talks alot of smack on IA so much you never quite know when he is serious or not
