As good as he pulled away in second and 3rd, A newer one may not be a problem either. Or at least closer.

There's a 90 hp difference between the E36 (91-99) and the E46 (2001-06). The 95 should have been good for 240 bhp 10 years ago, but who knows in it's current state. You should have won, congrats.

Nice vid,

The e36 m3's are slow compared to the srt-4s. I raped one the other day on a 3rd gear pull just about as bad as you did on your vid.

I second the notion the e36's are slower than shit.

Try racing the e46 bottom 13' second car.

Default Kill

I like the kill.... No matter what you ended up in front and that's all that counts to me... Kills a Kill!

Hmmm...

From Automotive.com:

2006 BMW M3 Performance & Efficiency Standard Features

- 3,246 cc 3.2 liters in-line 6 front engine with 87 mm bore, 91 mm stroke, 11.5 compression ratio, double overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder
- Premium unleaded fuel 91
- Fuel economy EPA highway (mpg): 23 and EPA city (mpg): 16
- Multi-point injection fuel system
- 16.6 gallon main premium unleaded fuel tank
- Power: 248 kW , 333 HP SAE @ 7,900 rpm; 262 ft lb , 355 Nm @ 4,900 rpm
- Weights: curb weight (lbs) 3,781

It seems to me that 300 wHP in out cars should be more than adequate for a kill on the new ones. These beasts are VERY nice cars, don't get me wrong at all. I've installed stereo systems on them....They're TANKS though, they're almost 1000 lbs more beefy than ours!

A 1000lbs more beefy not quite. Try 4-500.

Regular coupes weigh in the 3400lb range, and I believe the lateset competition coupe weighed in at 3340lbs. Of course coverts are a tad more pushing near 3600.
