the camera guy i had in my car thought i would beat this srt4 by atleast 4 cars. i kinda laughed and said a car to car and a half. camera man is a import guy, so u would think he stick up for the srt4 first. but anyway, he did have 2 passengers to my 1. and he kept up very well. when he missed his shift i let out the gas, to make it even. but i started pullin again @120. and he wasnt fallin back hardly at all. as u can see in the vid.
but anyway srt4 are no joke from a roll.stock for stock i think the srt4 would win. well i can only speak for manual sr4 against auto LT1. maybe stick for stick the LT1 would win, but dunno.
anyway thanks for the replies guys and if we run again i will post the vid. we had talked bout doin it agian in the daytime, so vid will be much better.
peace
no way, when i had s1, i raced a few lt1's from a 3rd gear roll and just yank away immediately... and even pulled on ls1 t/a & camaro, even the lighter c5 vettes i pulled about 1.5 c/l from 80-120 and i only had 277 back then...
stock lt1's are high 13's low 14 sec cars.. pretty similar to the srt4 so stock for stock is a nice race. you being modded with im assuming headers catback intake gears, and maybe some more minor mods gives you a decent advantage. I raced an untuned cammed lt1 and beat him pretty bad. But his car ran like total ass.
