The problem is that everything was installed professionally. So I don't know where they hooked up stuff!! I gotta find out all the pieces I need to buy from Home Depot so i can get the stuff i need.
If you guys want to come help, i'll cover dinner and stuff. Or beer, that's up to you guys. I don't drink, so their is usually a ton of beer left.
Make sure you plug your upper intercooler pipe or else the pressure will just go through the throttle body and leak out the oil cap.
This thread just proves that SRT owners are not all dicks as thought in many other forums. When you go to other forums. The SRT owners are thought of as cocky and we put other cars down.
This thread shows an EVO losing with grace. With his mods, the EVO could be faster. SRT owners helps (with advice) the EVO owner to maximize the EVO's potential (to make him fatser). I'm not talking about 1 person giving advice. A few has. I would give advice too, but don't know much about the EVO.
Sure there are a few rotten apples that spoils the barrel. At least we know most of us are not like what other people think.
^^^^ yeah i agree completely dan used to have an srt but it was a lemon so he got himself an evo mr very nice fast car i will prolly go over to his house in the next couple of days to help him out w/ leaks or whatever
I gotta admit, that top end is freakish. I think even if I do your mods I couldn't be tha fast. By the way....do you got an FPR mod? When you do hook up from dig. Post the numbers. I wann see
Every group of cars has jerk drivers. A lot of other drivers don't want to be outdone by a car that costs so much less than their own. But to me, it's just a race. People need to chill and try to get along. It should be for fun.

It is pretty easy to construct a tester or you can purchase them from vendors on this forum. The big thing you are going to need is a good compressor.
Here is a link to a good tester set-up from this forum. Honestly on the EVO's it will help if you make an extension on the end of the 90 degree fitting, since your turbo sits down lower and in the front of the car. It will make hooking up the compressor hose much easier. Just purchase a small peice of pvc pipe. If you go that route you will need a slightly different threaded adaptor. Just dry fit it all together in the store, that way you know it is going to work when you get it home. If you stick with the orginal design you will have to reach down by the fan shroud to hook up the air supply hose. On EVO's mitsubishi made the fan shroud like a razor. It will look like you got in a cat fight if you are not wearing a long sleeve shirt.
Ya the only power add that he has that I don't is exhaust. I run 13.5's. I don't think that exhaust will make my car that much faster. when I saw his run with a trap speed of 112mph, I about shit myself. He's got alot of topend power just no traction. Pete if you get slicks you'll be running at least mid 12's.
Wow im totally out of the loop, i swear Dan's wife told me he got a truck? Oh well, yall need to race the next time i come back and i'll jump in there and get my ass whooped cuz i dont have shit for an exhaust. i get paid tuesday though, but im saving until i can buy the whole thing o2, dp, and exhaust
As for Pete, well his car is just fast as fuck for the mods is all i can say. I have seen all his time slips and stuff and they are what he says they are.
it is a different dan than u are thinking of u are thinkin of the one w/ the orange one haha it's all good this dan had a lemon as well but yes dan w/ the orange one did get a silverado.
