Default SRT vs 5.0, ricer, blown silverado, eagle talon

This is my NEW BEST for street tires. Car was running exceptionally well considering two things...

1.) Most people were running SLOWER than usual
2.) This track has the last 300ft being slightly uphill (you'll see in the videos below what I mean )


I'm officially the factory freak being my only mods are intake, wga, exhaust...boost set to 19psi fade to 14psi, no tune and I got a killer AFR. Timing is 25-40 with 0 knock retard based on a borrowed aeroforce gauge.

Anyways here we go...

1st two runs I'm not even going to comment on the stupid shifter ball came off the shifter It was a 14.1 @ 103 (missed 1-2 shift and shifted w/o ball whole way) and a 13.8 @ 102 (missed 3-4 due to ball coming off it went right to neutral...tried to get back on it)...that clip is below

3rd run I lined up against a supercharged Chevy Silverado. Not bad truck. Video is below and here's the run breakdown...

60' 2.313 / 2.351
1/8 8.92 @ 85.57MPH / 9.28 @ 79.92MPH
1/4 13.567 @ 105.76MPH / 14.177 @ 99.41MPH

4th run is against some ricer Civic and I hot lapped it. Basically I was the 1st guy to go on the 3rd run and the track guy didn't know I already went so I said screw it I'll get another run in BAD IDEA car was heat soaked and ran slower...didn't matter as I ran a rice burner and ate it alive....see below He ran a 15.5 @ 89mph

5th run and 6th run were both against a Mustang 5.0. I beat him both times. First run was a tad closer (second just looked BAD). Here's the closer one with said times...

60' 2.271 / 2.075
1/8 8.932 @ 85.34MPH / 8.810 @ 80.39MPH
1/4 13.579 @ 105.91MPH / 13.713 @ 99.76MPH

6th run was basically me doing 13.73 @ 105.82MPH to his 14.21 @ 98.56MPH

7th and final run I lined up against my friends brand new bone stock Chrylser 300C SRT-8. Afterwards on the way home let's say I got payback but on the strip he not only better launched me but he red lighted. I stood neck and neck with him about 2 cars back the entire way as you'll see on our slips. I even out MPH'ed him.

Me/300C SRT-8
R/T 0.538 / 0.439 (red light)
60' 2.336 / 2.067 (that ended the race )
1/8th 9.023 @ 85.12MPH / 8.640 @ 83.73MPH
1/4mi 13.661 @ 105.91MPH / 13.335 @ 105.32MPH

how are you hitting 19 psi with just intake wg and exhaust and not hittin fuel cut? i have basically the same mods minus exhaust and i hit fuel cut at like
18 psi. lol

i was in the same boat as you. my friend was spiking 18-19 and holding 15-16 without hitting fuel cut. if i spiked anything thing over 16 and hold 12+ i would hit fuel cut. i put a stage 1 pcm in and everything went away.

for the op nice runs. sucks as the only thing close here is an 1/8th track

could be a faulty gauge...mine was doing 16psi fade to 12psi and hitting cut...found out the SOB was over 20psi drop to 15psi...oops

i believe because the computer on the neon SRT needs to see consistent boost over 18 PSI for 3 seconds before hitting boost cut, my old one wasa the same way with those mods, if i had the boost controller hold 19 PSI it would hit boost cut, if i had the boost controller off and it would spike 19 PSI and fall to 16 i wouldnt hit boost cut

nice runs man it was awesome to be there and meet you

(the black caliber is mine in case anyone is wondering)

nah if you ride in my car in 4th gear it holds 19psi for a good while before it falls off...

I need to get it re-dyno'ed again to see where it's at.

I never met another arrogant fox owner back when I had my coupe.

But ironically after I had my 92 GVR-4 I took it to one DSM show and never went back or associated much with that crowd.

foxbody owners get a bad rep just like everyone else......out of every type of car....there are the ones that ruin it for the rest...the srt4 has them to....as does the foxes.
