Default srt with 50 trim vs evo8 with cams

A friend of mine raced a evo from a 3rd gear pull.
The srt has a AGP 50 trim with boltons(nothing ported or polished). Maxfab/Borla exhaust,spearco intercooler,XS MBC,safc2,750's/return.
The srt was at 22psi.
The evo8 has cams everything ported and polished, unknown reflash at
24 psi.

That evo had quite a bit of work too gotta love real quick spool. It looked like the evo was still adding distance too, but the vid just cut off.....

Yea that evo ran a 11.5 . The srt ran a 12.1 at 118.4 mph.(granny shifting)
The srt and the evo stayed the same distance after the intial spool up.
Don't know why the video just cut off, that's how it was sent to me.
The srt had a major boost leak. A driver behined the srt saw a bolt fall from under is car. When my friend checked he saw he was missing a manny/turbo and the other 3 were hand tight.
He fixed it and later ran a JDM built motor lightning that ran a 11.5 and beat it.

PS the tune is not the same as when the car was dynoed at 408WHP and 425TQ. It has a safer tune and it was 1psi less.

I am owner of EVO. I made post correcting things on SRT4mation. I dont have port/polished head. Motor is stock other than cams. I was running 23psi and I have not run at the track with my setup, which is basically full bolt on, cams, w/stock turbo.

I will be running an EVO with HKS 280 cams, and ecutek retune, he is running 1.5 bars with exhaust, pump; and is pretty quick beating up on Z06's when I was in the car with em last. What did you use to tune the EVO?

Yeah I dont know why the kids camera cut like that. I braked about 2 seconds after that as I was maxxed out in 4th gear at 7900rpm at about 125mph I dont know if I said it in this thread or another but we stayed pretty much even top end. I checked my rear view when I shifted to 4th and a split second before I hit the brakes and I didnt pull on it anymore. Very even up top.

Isnt it amazing that you suddenly had numerous pass at a track and port/polished everything. Internet racing at its best.
