That Ford got out of the hole QUICK! Really bad launch for the SRT-10. If you watch the video close you see the nose drop then come back up right after launch. Driver mod needed?

lightnings mod for mod will kill the viper truck at half the cost......this is why we have the neons ...the replacement for displacement is f/i...........
The SRT10 Ram owner is a very capable driver. He had run a 12.0x earlier in the night at 119mph. Considering he has only had the truck since fall and has only been to the track a few times this spring he is doing pretty good. He is still figuring out what the truck likes. He will make no excuses for what happened. He has run enough races to know a win is a win and a loss is a loss.
On the run in the video he got really aggressive off the line and the stock tires didn't stick. You gotta push it sometimes to figure out where the limits are. His goal is to be the quickest SRT10 on street tires, which is 11.83. The truck, and the driver, have it in them, just gonna take a bit more practice.
The Lightnings are cool, and can be wicked fast, but I'll take an SRT10 Ram anyday. They are an absolute blast to drive and handle unbelievably well for as big as they are. Not to mention the Brembo brakes are amazing at hauling that big rig to a hault in a hurry!
