The gauge is accurate. I do lose a bit of boost, but I think it's only down to like 25psi by 6K.

I also feel like no one is listening to me about the slicks rubbing.

I wish we would have swapped slicks for a run. Then we would have seen a higher trap speed.

I also feel like lots of people are comparing times to times, for cars with and cars without WOTboxes. 2 identical cars, one with a wotbox, will not perform the same.

I'll get a wotbox, and either modify the spring perches or get CO's and we will see what the car can do then. Then, when the trap speed is up to "what everyone thinks it should be" it will all make sense.

I agree my trap speed is low, and I believe it to be caused from 2 things, the slicks rubbing so damn hard (smoking all the way down the track) and the high IAT's. I believe the slicks rubbing harmed me more.

nick, no offense but the video doesnt show any smoke that i see ill watch it again to double check.

wot box isnt going to inprove your mph that much(10 mph), if you have GOOD power you will make it up in 3rd and 4th gear. sure your ET might not be as good.
you know what my slicks rubbed too on my 11.19 pass when i lowered the psi to 10 it was catching on the locking nuts on my co. but i didnt say it but one time. it is what it is...

what was your 8th mph and et then what was your 4th mph and et

The camera is pointing forward, the smoke was trailing behind the car

The problem I have is I spool slowest in 4th gear, and nearly as slow in 3rd gear. From the time I put my right foot down, and the vac is at -20 to the time I get back into boost its like 1/2 a second. That's .5 second for every gear, roughly, so 4 gears in the quarter mile, .5 second for each, that's 2 seconds I spend spooling down the drag strip. It's a 20G Stage 3, so it spools slower than a stock wheel'd stage 3.

With a Wotbox I'd only have to spool once, in first gear.

I am thinking of stopping in Lisianna on my way to Florida in January

BTW, I could feel the car being slower at the track than it is on the streep. It was noticeably slower at the track. It's also noticeably faster on the street. What's the difference? Tires.

I asked my buddy video taping about smoke and he said it was minimal. There shoulda been a decent amount on your first pass, and once the tire is rubbed off, there should be no more rubbing or smoke.

I think it was much more: boost drop/lag entering gears, heatsoak in 3rd/4th, not fully tuned, as the major contributors. My IATs were 90-100 for most of the passes.

This is a good idea. You're giving him a baseline for comparision.

I personally think it's an issue with the tune. From my understanding there has been some significant work done to the car since the 450+ dyno reading. If there has not been any significant work since the 450+ dyno reading, then it's 1 of two things. Something has changed since then (ie boost leak, exhaust leak, ignition, tune, etc), or the dyno readings are incorrect.

My air temps on my 93 pump gas 10.70@130 run where 150 by the end Of the track. That was with air temps being 103 in the staging lanes. This was due to the shitty fmic I had At the time. Car went a 6.9x@105 in the 1/8th but only back halfed 25mph.

Just saying that because I thought you said somewhere your air temps on that run where mid 120s? I don't think that's too bad considering the ambient temp. If the air temps where in the 140+ range that's when I would start really worrying.

I do, but the M5 nozzle sprays after the sensor. I did this so I could see whats actually being accomplished by the stock IC. This way I can compare IAT's with others, for example, with Zenkat.

Since the dyno I haven't made any changes except spark plugs. The rebuild was before the dyno. 1 day before to be exact. The car was being put together that night.
