I drive pretty saintly anyways but will do even more so now...makes you double think when someone pulls up next to you wanting to "run." Let Steven rest in peace and God be with his family and friends.
All the recent tradegies seem to be signs for the rest of us that we need to take it easy and double think every time we get in our cars. Life is so much more precious than who will win in a race or how fast we can go and etc...

thanks man on the comment .... it was a pleasure making the vid for steve

Default My Condolences

Hey all,

My names Henry, and I hail in from New Hampshire. I recently came across the video one of the members here made. It hit me real hard, I've never known anyone personally die from a car accident due to street racing.

What really hit me hard was the fact that he died at the young age of 19, and reading some of these posts about him , it tells me that he was one hell of a guy, respectable and well liked in this community.

Even though I don't own a SRT4 and I'm a Honda guy, but I respect people equally no matter what kind of car they drive.

I wanted to leave my respects to you guys and especially him. I may sound like a wimp but man, you members have to know how hard a tragedy like this would impact someone else, and watching the funeral services and his car, being right there in the midst of it, that has to be the hardest thing for the parents to watch to know that he's not there anymore and that the only memory left are pictures and especially his car.

Remember be safe when you drive.

Sadest video i have ever seen. That video hit me in the heart, i guess it must of been hard for someone who knew the person and who made the video.

I wasn't relating this to racing but street racing is exremely dangerous and lives can be lost...I never drive fast with my car unless someone wants to race but now I'm not going to even race, got it now? Cool then, great for posting O.T. in a thread like this.

Using S.L.'s untimely death in conjunction with street racing serves one good purpose.

Yes, we know he wasn't racing someone. However, given that racing someone on the streets is exponentially more dangerous than at a track (too many unknown variables!)...do you think that invoking S.L.'s memory before one does get into a testosterone pissing match is a bad thing?

You know what? It doesn't matter where you are, it is dangerous out there. Do you ever wonder why most people who are used to driving thier own vehicle mysteriously try to find a brake pedal while in the passenger's seat? The laws of physics don't take a break because someone is testing out a part. Mr. Murphy DEFINATELY wants a piece of that a$s no matter where you are.

I haven't engaged in a speed contest since shortly after his death. If I change my mind today while driving and become a complete hippocrite...and die in the process...even worse kill or injure someone totally innocent to my selfishness...

I'd deserve whatever I get plus more.

You'd never see me plead not guilty to the inevitable charges of manslughter or vehicular homicide.

The track is dangerous enough. Out here we don't even have EMS services at our track anymore. Keep the dick measuring contests there not on the streets.

Something tells me that envoking S.L.'s memory to keep people from street racing is something that his family would not mind.

ONE life...YOUR life is very important.
