I was saddened to hear that Steve aka Nightshades past away although i didnt know him personally I bought products from him like the eyebrows and like two or three days after I recieved them he had passed. I hope this is a lessoned learned for all that speeding on the street is not always the right way to go bring it to the track
RIP Nightshades
sadly this post is sandwiched between a bunch of street racing posts.. does anyone else see the irony there... it makes this board look fuckign stupid mourn this person in the manner in which he has been, the post a fucking street race or a top speed run or whatever else reckless crap that is chosen.
i know i never post here, but holy shit.... in a roundabout way this forum promotes street racing and reckless driving by allowing posts of just that nature. wouldn't it be a more fitting "goodbye" or whatever to be the "great community" that the SRT-4 community has turned into and ban all street racing posts from this forum?
I posted on streetfire...we all probably know the rush of a streetrace...most of us don't really know the grief, anger and sorrow of a streetrace gone bad. Like I mentioned on Streetfire, I haven't raced on the street since this accident. I just can't bring myself to the thought of placing my wife, my family and my friends through this because I wanted to see how big my schlong was compared to someone else's. Don't be selfish to EVERYONE that loves you. Can any of us REALLY live with themselves if we were the ones to accidentally kill someone innocent? I damnwell know I couldn't.

2x
To bad he had to go to show us all the right way... sorry for the loss... great vid... he was a nice man... i dont know anyone that didnt like him... he seems pretty happy guy... to bad...
Wow, I am guessing he died while street racing. That is some scary stuff and certainly will stay in the back of my mind when I want to "play" again. That was a very nice vid man. It is good to know so many of the people on this board are so supportive of eachother. R.I.P.
The family (parents) I would imagine. Just be careful out there guys! I passed up two cars (victims?) tonights who would have been notches on the victory list but didn't know better. There is someone out there who WILL miss you if you do decide to take a run at another car...and don't make it.
Think of your girl, think of your family. I know this won't stop everyone. As long as we keep one person from leaving prematurely...
This has affected me very deeply. I hope it has done the same for others.
I didnt personally know nightshade but I send a prayer to his family and friends. Please be safe out on the street guys if you choose to race. Im also very impressed by the support from the forums, I really thought it was awesome that all of you guys whent to his funeral, it really makes me proud to be apart of this forum.

I'm proud to honor him by rocking his eyelids on my car. I heard about his wreck the day of the funeral, otherwise I would have gone as well. Sad thing it is when racers die.
