I switched my precision 61mm out for a precision 6057 last friday and a lot of people have asked for vids.
They're calling for rain here soon so I went out and made some pulls after re gapping the plugs to .020 and so far it doesn't seem to have that breakup at 6400ish anymore. I made a pull to around 6800 and it ran great but the camera didn't record that pull for some reason, or the last pull I did before I got back home. It only recorded the second pull I did where I pedaled it and let out around 6500. This was on 25psi and pump spraying 100% meth. The camera was rattling and making a terrible noise, plus it shook a lot, but you get the idea. I barely hit it in 2nd before I did the 3rd gear pull, just so you can see the response of this turbo. I'll get better vids later but for now, here's what I have.
Read the fucking post. I know this. I hate to be a dick but I'm so tired of people on here posting in people's threads and never even reading the original post.
I do occasionally but not as much as I'd like to. The car has been my daily driver since I bought it new in August of 05 so I don't take it to the track very often. It still lacks a clutch that will allow me to shift at 7200, so for now there's no point anyway.
Sucks about the clutch I would love to see your car in action at the strip. I dont rev exactly that high (I rev to 7000-7100) rpms on a SBC Stg5 Modular clutch shifts great no problem. Turbo looks very responsive!
I'll either do a twin disc or possibly a non mod south bend stage 5. I'd love to see it at the track too lol. I've had slicks and skinnies for a long time and not even hardly used them.

go & shift @ 6500 or 7 or w.e. the max it will letchu shift @!
What the fuck is wrong with your camera!!! Its broke or something making stupid weird noises and fucked the video....
It sounded like tits at the end!

The purpose of ignition advance is to account for the lag time following spark ignition for combustion pressure to peak at 15 degrees AFTER TOP DEAD CENTER. A little fyi !
I'm ready to do diablo bad. I'm sick of not being able to log it. There's a good chance I may do that before the clutch, unless I run across a good deal or something. Just depends on what hits me when I have the extra cash I guess haha.
I couldnt be happier with it. I personally don't think you could find a better street turbo, and the fact that it should still support 700ish make's it that much better.
