Nice video, how do you have the camera mounted? I like how you can see the track-vision and rpm/speed. Pretty neat! Good job

Yes! New Forced Performance Green under the hood... had all of 10 miles of break-in (on the turbo and the new short block) before I loaded up for the 750 mile drive to Chicago to compete at RTA.

Brakes are fine (13x1.1 Willwoods), just being a bit cautious since that was the first (and only) "full speed" session I had all weekend as I was fighting a "spark" issue all weekend, it came back after that session as well.

The tires are required to be 140 or higher for street and the Conti CS3 is a great performance tire for something with such a high TW, especially compared to what others in the class are running (and they still finished behind me)!

Can't wait to try the new Conti Extreme DW at Nashville next month!

Thanks.... MaxxFab SEE with hi flow cat (required for street class) and a resonator... I love the sound personally!

Of course if you listen closely, I think my POS PTP charge pipe cracked again around the tab welds... You can hear a howling sound when I hit boost coming out of the corners, and it's not the tires!

Great finish! Ditch those hard pipes and grab some Samcos. What treadwear are those new Conti Extreme DW's?

Got a link to a samco replacement for the charge pipe {turbo to hotside (which is already a samco)}?

New Conti's are 340TW

I misunderstood your post. I thought you were talking about the smaller charge pipe that goes to the hotside of the IC.

Are the new Conti DW's supposed to perform better then the CSC3's? Or are you just going to a higher treadwear to further embarrass the competition?

upping the humiliation factor. if they cant beat a neon with 340 tw tires they should just pack up their vette, porsche, lotus or other "over compensating" car and head home to take up needlepoint.

Congrats bro. I've been out of the track scene for a min. I used to own a '01 ITR and it was pretty tricked out for track events. Did a lot of HPDE's and was going to do some RTA's too. My friend Andrew did one in his S2000 a few years back and won in street class. I'm hoping to get my SRT into racing shape and maybe do some RTA's next year. Again, Congrats..
