playing with a boosted rx8

so in my car its me about 250 lbs plus my buddy also about 250. mad a fe runs with an rx8 running about 8 lbs of boost.

what are your mods? only turbo I heard was yours You should have told him ricer tailpipe bov's are not a substitue for a real turbo

my mods are S2 w/o toys, ported intake mani, ported tb w/ spacer, ported exhaust mani, E1 turbo, sri, 3" tbe, Bfmic, south bend stage 3 clutch, boost controller......as far as boost goes that night i had it down spike at 20 hold 18-19 till red line. usally saturday nights i will run 114 oct and up the boost a little

i'd say a rx-8 is a complete waste of money. but i think that would be an understatement.

didn't you tune the stage 2 or is there something wrong with the engine... i didn't know stage 2 keeps the engine light on.

well i know i throw a few codes. p0113 key skim.and p0633 i believe its because its a staged pcm. you can have the code cleared if you go to the stealership. i just sent my pcm to flight systems and got it back in like a week. could care less if the check engine light is on....

as far as him paying for my gas we got back and he bought me a bottle of jager

you need to race from a roll and him at 6k rpms. even boosted, those things have no torque
