hey guys just a heads up on whats going on...i finally found a fabricator that will make me a prototype bracket for this plate...he does awsome work but this bracket is going to be a bit more expensive than i thought putting the total price of this just a bit higher than 300 dollars...all metal shops in my area are saying cost of metal has gone up alot hence the higher prices...i will have the prototype done in about a week or so and ill have it ready to go for a fresh video of what it looks like on the car...
the product will look awsome when finished and i will also have all the plates powder coated to give them a nice clean finish..
thanks for looking and keep the questions and coments coming!
it reflects light so you cant see through it at all when its shined on it...it still allows a certain amount of light in aswell because this glass is also made to be on homes and offices...once its opaque you wone see through it with any light shining on it.
i always put a disclaimer saying "this unit is for offroad use only, and made solely for private use and show purposes" just like any other car product thats supposed to be used "off road"...
ok guys heres a link to a thread i had posted on another network...im just going to copy and paste it because its hard to re write all this info over again...enjoy the pics...
this is a rough prototype that has been made just to grasp the idea of how it works, the finished product will be a bit slimmer and be powdercoated aswell...thanks guys and feel free to give me some ideas, because remember this is a raw prototype..
here are the pics i took...this took me all night! so i hope you guys like em haha!...oh and dont mind the car, its a bit dirty as it poured rain today..
LMAO! that is absolutely hilarious! i promise that shirt looks much better in person...you asshole lol jks!...on another side note were working on slimming this thing up a bit and working out small kinks...keep the comments coming guys, not on the shirt though lol!..good thing i took it off through out the shoot then or there would be some more flamming then!
ok were going back to the drawing board and changing a few things....were going to thicken the glass and make the bracket way different now..i want it to be alot more low profile. i have a new shipment of glass coming in this week and ill keep everyone posted on this with new pics!
Thanks for your patience and i wont stop till i perfect this.
the bracket will be way lower profile, once we get the new glass finished we will make the bracket as thin and low profile as possible so it wont look so bulky and obvious...the next prototype will look much different..
