Steven Lorenz, Maximillian Krumm, and Ariel Poliak were the three involved in the accident. Steven adn Maximillian died instantly. Ariel was lifelited to the hospital. And is currently in stable condition. Maximillian was driving his car. They were testing a NEW Part on the car. He was driving 70 in a 35 mph zone. Hopefully we can at least learn from this accident to take it easy...though I know it's hard to do sometimes.
On a side note, a friend of mine died in a car crash yesterday. He was speeding, i'm not sure how fast, but after they pulled the car out, the speedometer was on 115 mph. A car pulled out in front of him, he passed it and another car was coming the opposite direction so he swerved back into his lane. When he did that, his car lost control and flipped into some trees. The road he was on is full of curves and it had been raining so that contributed to it. He was 17.
Please, please slow down and drive safely, I know I will.
As I'm writing this...I cry for a person I never knew...a person I'd never heard of until today. The loving comments his friend's have made on his myspace page since that fateful day speak volumes of who he was in life. They also seem to have affected me on a level that hasn't been touched in years. I know what it's like to lose someone close...this hits too close to home.
Steven...you are and will be missed. Even by someone such as myself, who never had the chance to meet you, you will be missed. RIP bro.
