as far as putting a shot on it, i dont think i'm gonna do that. i'm moving down to a faster spooling turbo soon. this turbo is a beast on the highway but i want something spools a lil faster cause im just very anal about lag. i want full boost by 2000 RPM and make 500whp

not bad, what were you finaly numbers and at what psi? maybe about a month ago you were advertising and hyping up this Gt-K series saying how much faster spool is going to be on it over a gt series turbo of the same size, now you're complaining about spool? Dogng so much work to the car might as well up the redline. Turbo lag is overrated anyway.

Evos are just sick. God knows what the result would be if he had your turbo.

yep that was me and a site sponsor, but im not gonna get into that cause i'll get banned and my SRT4 might also get stolen and have a "hit" put out on me.

buts its all good, this was the unknown, i was the first to get tuned on a GT-K so it was all guess work. i made 405whp with a exhaust leak. basically stock except for the turbo kit. i never posted my dyno sheet cause it made me sad. i need to do a pull or do on the dyno again to see what i make but whatever.

Wait so are yo utaking back that claim that the gt-k spools faster? You fix that exhaust leak when you raced in this video right? I thought you had basicaly the size of a gt076r with your gtk.

the gtk spools just as fast as a garrett or turbonetics BB turbo. yes i know what i said. i was wrong. but it was all guess work really. but whatever.

the gtk-500 is bigger than a 3076r

nice nice what kinda timing you running? I myself have a Megasquirt and I am trying to fine tune the map. Right now I am at 21-22psi on 50 trim with 11.8-12.0 a/f with 26 degrees of timing and seeing no knock and egts are good. Now sure what power I am making, but soon water/meth will be turned on, timing advanced, and boost turned up some more....all on pump gas.

Default Cool

Man, that video makes me want to put some 109 unleaded in my car, pump the boost up to 28 pounds, and stomp some V8's!

Of course, I ate a WS6 yesterday, while running 91 octane @ 20 psi. My guess is that the WS6 was bone stock.

Nice runs!

ws6's are quite fast...I raced my friends TA that put down 410whp/408wtq on motor and 500/550 on the juice....on motor I pulled him and I was at 21-22psi. I think you will need more than 109 to pump up to 28psi though?

that mega squirt is nice as hail! i'm still on a AFC2

i'm running 28psi seeing no knock on 110 oct

as far as my mods go, everything is stock except the big turbo kit, of course i have a FMIC, hardpipes, tial BOV, exhaust, ect... but no port work, but it is on the way.

i'm also stepping down to a smaller turbo so i can really get the psi where it is efficient
