Are you that gay and naive?

Probably the dumbest comment I have read tonite.

What I am saying, Is if he continues to run this setup without taking more safety precautions, he is gonna find himself in a world of hurt with his car.

I do not want to see it, but if he thinks he is so safe, then he will have to find out the hardway.

Race Fuel > Over Pump Gas and Injection, ANYDAY

I just dont see this setup lasting long...sorry

My setup is as safe as can be.

Comments like this, are probably what make this website look so bad.

Dont you try and wonder why I stopped when I did?

It's because, I was being safe, rather than sorry. I could of said, "Oh Yeah, lets turn this bish up some more and see how much more power we can make!", and risked blowing up the car. But I didn't, Because We knew timing was an issue, and we didnt want to have the car knock or exceed recommended timing levels.

But like I have always said, People on this forum think they are invincible in their cars, and always hack at the people that know what their talking about.

But whatever. Let everyone learn the hardway!

Dont forget as well, I am also at a higher altitude than you so I dont experience knock on pump til 20psi...Car right now is at 18psi on pump and is safe.

And as a safety precaution, i tend to try and blend in 101 whenever i get the chance, to maintain the safety of the car.

If you want to discuss this further, take it to PM's with me. I am headed to bed, so i wont most likely reply in this thread, tonite, if i ever do again.

I don't see what the big deal is. Evo's have been running 30psi on straight pump (no alky/meth) for quite a while now. The key is all in the tune, not how much boost you're running.

spoken for the truth DMS.....but i think what dumbassMT doesnt realize is that, this is a DCR motor....tuned by the best out there for SRT-4's.

this car did 20+ pulls on the dyno on pump, and 20+pulls on c-16......in about 4 hours....thats 40+ pulls!

this engine never showed any kind of letting up. pull after pull, it took it and then some.

Goober tq is what breaks motors.. if he is making 450-480 tq but at a high rpm then he's cool.. Hp is just a number.. Big motor big cams big valves big turbo.. means the same tq number at much higher RPMS..
450wtq at 8000 = 685whp. It's not that hard.

We will be raising the rev limit as it can handle 8500 rpm easily. Not bad considering the intercooler was cracked. Same DCR 2.6 Stroker as Aaron, RedSled, and many others are running.
