I've ran many Evo's both XIII's and IX's. Mainly because many of those people are my buddies. My main friend has a RR Evo IX ssl with HKS RS intake,DC downpipe, Greddy Ti, Hallman bc set at 21psi, fuel pump, and custom dynoflash tune. And him and me would be neck and neck till 4th and I would start pulling.
Same with all the other guys. They all dyno in the 314hp are. and 300ft lbs.
Ahh, I see the problem now.
Yea but 315 is 315 however you look at it. Nice smooth curve. The other guy I ran was on a "KevinD" tune.
Fuck Big Al! Goddamn Buscher nutswinger. Al doesn't even tune his own car, yet he travels around the country to tune other peoples.

Well yes out of your league now, but your running on stock boost. That's a problem right there. If the Evo's were running on there stock 19 psi it would be a different storry to, but yes, on 16psi your dead meat.

even at the track i would turn my boost up 17, 18, 19 psi and it just didnt feel as good, never thought that coming from a DSM since more boost and race gas is a proven recipe...
traps never went up with the boost up on pump...i just need a tune is what it comes down to..
You were probably getting to much knock running more boost; thus loosing timing. That could be the only reason why you aren't see higher trap speeds. And a meth kit and try again.
