i think most of that flutter was from the cai, i have the greddy and mine does it all the time...

sounds like no insert to me, its def. not the silver or gold.

Sounds like the bov isnt working right... the wastegate is letting the boost out... i think tahts what taht flutter is... Your not using the the stock pink line are you?

i have this same bov and it is more hight pitch than yours. I did use the pink line.

I have the silver, and mine is high pitched. I also have a purple on that has been on the car for all of avout 5 seconds, before I took it back off (hint hint if anyone is interested in it) I like the silver one better. on my HKS, I can actually hear both chambers opening. it sound sick, and I love it. 4 months on, and I still never get tired of it. Only complaint is that it still blows off in vaccum.
