Guess the WHP?? :)

I don't know what my car is putting out now, but man it's moving good as of today. I took out the car and finally got all the intercooler hose clamps upgraded on the car. I noticed that the car has had what feels like 10-15 more whp with this mod. The spool, and power throughout the rev range has been improved. Well today I decided to take it out, and really test it. It's a different animal, it will blow the tires off in second, and likes squealing them in 3rd!!!!! I'm really happy with the way the car is running right now, scary. It's short n sweet, I hope you like it, laters....... stock intercooler, hardpipes, tb, you get the idea, mods in sig

Looks smooth but slows down at 120mph that's non hom right?

Hom was used, but it's a mix of pump and race gas. It held, and there was no blowout.

I don't know, it's tough to see, but it hits over 130+ on the 1st pass, and 130 on the 2nd. I think it slows down, because I'm on the stock intercooler. It feels alot stronger then it was when it ran 12.7. But then again, I've only got 5 total passes with slicks on my car. It feels sub 12.5 now, I know it hauls ass, useless in the first 3 gear, just the way I like them. It's quality footage though.

heheh nice but just to let you know there is more potential because my 3rd gear does what your 2nd gear does esp on hom.. i'll make a vid one of these days

I'm on the stock intercooler, TB, WG, hardpipes, intake, airbox, 02housing, but it does pretty good. This week, I plan to get a EGT, and bigger boost gauge. I've got bigger plans, heres how it sits today, stock airbox N all. I'm making all that power threw a 2 1\4" hole.

$2.50 t-bolt clamps = 10whp~15whp? + faster spool + fatter powerband?

Sounds like you just had a boost leak somewhere that was fixed... although usually if a clamp doesn't hold a pipe secure, it'll usually blow the pipe out of place completely losing all boost, not just 10whp~15whp of boost.

or... you just took too many sugar pills while putting the clamps on and are on a placebo high. =D

I've seen the clamps.. They are not some bunk ass $2.50 things. I've seen the car in person and the stockers would be so loose after a run you could turn them by hand sometimes... If I was keeping my car I would have them on it.

hah, there you go didn't know you were barebone s3 or close to it ya, start modding that puppy but let me warn you i've gone through 3 axles, 5 clutches (stock, cm s3, cm s4 x3), and 1 tranny.. s3r just makes too much power/torque too soon and likes to break shit

you'll gaine about 4mph on your trap speed from a BIG** FMIC.. suchas a superbeast or AGP Race.. and your car will be able to do consecutive runs without getting heatsoaked.. id say FMIC is your next mod

Get that fmic and o2 housing and look for 118 and up traps on hom. Personally I'd go with the beast fmic from exhaust depot, but thats entirely up to you.

Only complaint I have is that I'd keep both hands on the wheel right up until you shift. Better control especially if you encounter an unexpected amount of tq steer. Saved my ass a few times because I had both hands on the wheel. Out the hole my car is all over the place first through second. Your left hand did look white knuckled.....

Something doesn't seem right. You barely are chirping 215s at the beginning of 3rd. I'm on 245s and spin all the way through 3rd when I have hom turned on.
