i beat an STi from a roll, when i still had the stock turbo. granted, it took me until 3rd gear to pass his ass, but i still passed him, an 05 STi at that.
Not trying to be a hater, but it really isn't hard to beat an AMD car from a roll...
I think you meant AWD...but try racing a turbo-back/tuned STi from a roll, you'll realize that they're really not that bad from a roll like you think. They can turn their differential control to the rear as much as possible (60-40 I think) to help eliminate a little drivetrain loss, and they're pretty good from a roll at that point.
For reference, my friend has a turbo-back/tuned STi, and he trapped right over 108 mph in the quarter. Oh, and that was a 12.9 pass.
This is new, you must just make this shit up as you go along. The DCCD controls the split and does not eliminate drivetrain loss only way for that to happen is to go 2 wheel drive.

first of all id like to mention that stock srts and stock stis from the highschool roll are pretty similar if not the srt pullin a bit... now add about 100 whp to a srt and u will walk alot of sti's... even with minor bolt ons. i dunno how someone could say he was not racing lol or wasnt on the throttle all the way but those are probably 15 year old kids that like the sti's cuz thier friends say tehya re fast.... never the less its pretty impressive to have a 325 whp srt on stock turbo, i forgot his name but isnt there a guy on here that pulls 11.90s out of 299 whp? all in all good run, find something a little more challenging next time, like a cobb stage 3 sti
This guy in the vid i raced is now cobb stg2, 3inch turboback system and other bolt ons and i still wooped his ass.
And you will, the neon is lighter and is making more whp. I would love to stop seeing these lame roll-on races. Your car is lighter and makes more whp yet you still want to race the STi from a roll...there is no equalizer(the driver) . Race from a dig and input the driver into the equation. Lets see if you are as fast as your SRT is.
I think someone has been beat by an srt from a roll or he has sand in his vagina.....
Wow a witty reply from member #39XXX...you must have so much more experience with the SRT4 than I do. Yes I have been beaten by an SRT4 from a roll, which is hard to take because I continuously have to justify my self worth and the value of my car by the type of cars I race
well, the lesson learned by detective sandy vagina is that a $20,000 neon is faster than a $40,000 sti................you could have saved yourself some money and you would not have to switch to geico.....even a caveman can understand that

Drive what you like! I didn't switch to geico! Bolt any big turbo on a Neon and run a stock car and that's what you get, fast Hwy car with no traction. But in the end it's still an under $20,000 car. I will stick with quality.

oh boy...someone pulled the "veteran card" on ya...I guess if you have a late join date, that tells us all how much you know and how much experience you have with the srt4's...haaaaahaaa ...not good

Nice kill!
I'm still on stock turbo with just a front mount, stage 1, and intake and I have beat a brand new sti...

the join date means nothing, hell I know more ppl that know more about these cars than probably anyone on this site, and if you think I don't know that much, drive to me and lets run them

Do your home work before you speak! You have no clue of my Vast knowledge. How do you like the paint rubbing off on your door sill and trunk from the cheap paint. Or the passenger wipper nozzle falling apart from the heat of the Turbo. There is your under $20,000 design, but still a fast car.
SPANKNU: who the hell are you talking to guy? Look at the names in the quotes on my post there fella, and you will see that your name was never brought up...so let's take a chill pill dude
