Not trying to be a hater, but it really isn't hard to beat an AWD car from a roll...

haha. Nice Kill. I ran an EVO IX MR edition the other day. We went twice. Once from a 40mph roll and once from a 20mph roll. The 40mph, I totally destroyed him. The 20mph roll, we stayed dead even until the first shift. Then I pulled him like the 40mph roll.

So did the STI have any mods?

I think you meant AWD...but try racing a turbo-back/tuned STi from a roll, you'll realize that they're really not that bad from a roll like you think. They can turn their differential control to the rear as much as possible (60-40 I think) to help eliminate a little drivetrain loss, and they're pretty good from a roll at that point.

For reference, my friend has a turbo-back/tuned STi, and he trapped right over 108 mph in the quarter. Oh, and that was a 12.9 pass.

um.... drivetrain loss is what is is. no matter which set of axels as more of the power. it will always add up to 100% in end.

^^Exactly. The drivetrain loss is due to the extra rotational mass and friction caused by the 2 extra differentials, and the extra axles.

Your SRT4 is a cool car, but I would probably refrain from bragging about beating an AWD car that prolly wasn't racing you anyways... I don't post lame vids of me passing SRT4's that didn't see me coming!

good race and i love the way the car sounds. not flaming, but your third gear seemed to last forever. did you shift into 3rd at 45-50mph or something?
