What about the Tial, Type R, Apexi, and Turbonetics Raptor BOVs.... Personally been trying to find a clip of a Tial (local guy has one on his eclipse but he runs real low boost so it never opens up completely)

Does the Tial vent to the atmosphere like the Mopar? and dont most people say to use the Tial only with larger Turbo setups?

I'd be willing to bet everyone with an external BOV on an SRT-4 is running it VTA. The Tial is VTA only. I run one on a stock turbo but I had to cut 2.5 coils off the spring to keep it from surging during low vacuum situations, I also had to use a manifold sourced vacuum signal the factory line did't cut it. Tial sells 3 different springs for their 50 mm BOV - 22 inHg, 18 inHg and 14inHg. Mine came with a 22 inHg and it now opens at like 12 inHg.

I'll see if I can record a decent sounding clip tomorrow.

So far it looks like the votes are leaning towards the Greddy. I must admit, it definetly sounds different in comparison to the general BOV sound. More of a high-tech futuristic sound IMO. But the video RYANSRT posted on the HKS is pretty nice also.

What I am having trouble understanding is the physical difference between all of these different BOVs, and all these "inserts" or "attachments". For exampe, the Mopar BOV bolts directly into the turbo and releases the pressure into the atmosphere. However, do some of these BOVs attach to the intake or somethin?

Mmmmm...TiAL, My Fav!

I normally don't like the HKS because it sounds like a high pitch bird squeal But having heard it in person...it sounds nice on an SRT-4!
