That SRT was so slow. Oh wait that was me. Disregard my last statement please. Great race man. I think its my stripes that slowed me down. Ya know, the whole added weight thing. Great race man hope to do it again sometime.
It was all luck. I think maybe the left side of the road is faster than the right!!
And stripes are pretty heavy. I had an extra person in my car, but honestly I think the stripes are heavier!! So if we factor that in you def could've won!!
Good run though. You'll probably win next time!! Kinda funny how we both missed 4th on the 45MPH roll. It was freakin cold!!
Did you already do the boost leak testing after the last video you posted? It still seems like the Evo isn't pulling up top like it should. Do the Evo's start to pull timing when you go to a certain boost level?
Good races though, still love that evo even though everyone on streetfire thinks you're an idiot for not destroying what's left of your clutch by launching at the two step limiter lol

LOL, I paid $1400 for the clutch and $700 to install it and it hasn't worked right since day one. So, not interested in tearing it up yet.
I actually have to get the car into the shop and have the clutch taken out and sent back to Exedy to see what the problem could be. The problem with that is that the car will prolly be down for a few weeks while the clutch is being investigated and sent back, or reordered, or whatever it is they end up doing. So I'll be without my car.
I still want to order the Evoscan to try to reflash my car, because it may be pulling timing, or something. I have no idea. A boost leak test hasn't been done yet.
the evo has a REAL exhaust not 2.25 stock going from bottleneck to choke to bottleneck... flash my buddy always says puts them over 300 like 320-30 depending on the the company I guess... plus that evo has got more boost... 23 lbs? people on the evom forums post 12.9's with drop in and flash... so with more boost like 23 lbs and a good exhaust he should be even faster... so I don't think the srt did badly with the mods he has

The 4g63 takes REAL NICE to mods... I just saw a vid of an ev0 8 with o2 housing, 3" exhaust, mbc, 109 octane AMS ecu reflash, Jun 272 exhaust cam, stock motor (minus the cam), stock turbo... he layed down a 11.6 1/4 mile run... http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...7e00cb8f19.htm

That shit was fun though. Yo dude I was thinking about it all day yesterday and I found out why you beat me. My engine is too heavy. So maybe if I pull that out I might be able to win. Also I want to pull out all my seats ( including driver's), My spare tire, pull off my wing, take off the stripes, and take out my radio. I need to reduce the weight. altough not too much because I don't want to be less boyant than the water we were racing in.

AAAHHH, i feel your pain. i blew through a single disk act in two track days and thought the exedy twin was the end all to my clutch problems. a shepard racing trans and a exedy twin went in and still had problems. I HATE EXEDY CLUTCHES. i fused the disks together on my second pass(launched at 7100) but ran a 11.88@122 . its a 50/50 bag on the evo m forums as to whos had good luck and whos had bad luck with em. if money is no object go with the tilton carbon. nice runs btw. makes me miss my evo really bad. i never had the chance to run a srt on the road. killed every one i ran into at the strip tho. I love the SRT4 2.
