An nt-01 is not a drag radial. It's a road coarse tire. Most likely a stiff side wall... And given the size dimensions avail. for 15's... I'm going to guess you got the 225/45/15. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...%2FPerformance Those tires are only 22.97" tall. They are extremely short, and won't hold the tq down like a taller tire will. Couple that with the stiff sidewalls, and it's a means for no traction. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you just wasted $330 on tires.

I see guys buy those road race tires and call them drag radials all day. Even take them to the track with them. Most retarded shit I've seen. If those are bringing the hook for your car...you just need a better street tire cause that's not a DR
Huge difference between road race tires built for LATERAL GRIP and a drag radial that provides SIDE WALL FLEX Should have gotten some bias ply M&H drags or some MT radials.

I'm pretty sure the Nt05 is a road race tire as well....they have an NT05R that looks like a drag radial though is that the one you're talking about?
![]() These are 26 inches tall...and still roll over down low with any boost. What are the dimension on that radial you have and is it the NT05R or the NT05? They don't show any 15 inch dimensions for the Nt05 or the Nt05R though...they start at 17 inches. You sure you don't have NT01s? And if you do...sell them NOW

Nitto NT-01's are a great tire. I have had M&H and Mickey Thompson's on my Camaro and two sets of 245/45/17 NT-01's on the SRT. With a 17X8 wheel they hook hard and have a softer compound than a Mickey. More comparable to the M&H as far as compound. Anyone who buys NT-01's for the street with proper wheel and tire size will NOT be disappointed.
