Good find, nice videos. So the 49lb lost to the 47lb in all of those races. I need to get some up of my 44lb soon.

49lb big wheel is a waste. FP or FnF all the way.

I dont have a 49lb wheel turbo, but you cant base all the 49lb performance on just that one car especially during some silly street racing . Tuning, traction, driver mod etc... Maybe the other cars were running more boost, better tune, boost leaks etc. On the streets since there is no time posted both cars racing might actaully be slow.

Here is mine from this summer 44lb E3, fastest right now. Vid is me against a 69 camaro 454.

11.19 the pole covers up the "1", but you can hear the announcer say it.

I did own a 49lb wheel, tuned by aaron (RT) on a ems, port work by bob at FnF...Doesnt really get any better than that.

The car just felt like a slouch. Once you got going then it was great but no "break your neck" torque. I was dissappointed.

I agree, you had untuned cams. You never said what your boost was? My 49lb completely untuned and my car running like shit with a stock clutch will beat a 3147 by a nose (My Car was @ 18/19psi). When I get back from this deployment and get it running right will be interesting to see what her full potential is.

did you get a DCR or PTP 49lb wheel? I can tell you right now 23lbs is about the max. Verified by myself and 2 others(guy in cali, and guy in florida tuned by nemo)...good luck if you want more.

Awesome video! I love seeing the srt pull on and beat an old muscle car that pulls the wheels off the launch!
