Auto GT vs SRT-4 - SRT Forums

Mustang has X pipe,catback,plenum,cai diablo tune.
SRT-4 has bolt ons maybe the owner might come in and chime us in.

1st race SRT-4 bogged so he rolled up they both took off from a roll srt missed 3rd put it back in.
2nd race: Another dig none messed up, they let off around 80 cause of traffic.
3rd: 15 roll Gt tried manually shifting he banged of the revlimiter.
4th:Another 15-20 roll HIs tranny shifted him into 2nd instead of 1st.

Its in Ft. Lauderdale.

I wasnt Power shifting and just couldnt catch 3rd, oh well.. my problem.. just gotta keep practicing, the bog... never happened before to me.. that was new and frusturating. Oh well, i run for fun and just post my videos.

Maybe next week we can have beeter ones for everyone to see.

The whole thing was retarded because they cant drive . Stock for stock an srt4 would murder an auto gt from a roll. My friend has a new auto gt and it is a dog .Its a low 15 sec car at best according to my car and driver .I wish people wouldnt post embarrasing vids like that .
X pipe,catback,plenum,cai diablo tune. is still stock the gains he would get from that is a cooler sound . I have nothing against rustangs Iown a 91 with a built 351 in it . and its my 3rd mustang. but give me a break

Weak runs IMHO. SRT-4 needs more practice. That should of been a murder from hell.

A lil more practice and you'll be better.

As for who'd win, depends what speed from a roll. I had a 2000GT auto before my srt4. If you still drop to 1st it goes fine. From about 30mph my car was wicked form a roll. I had pulleys, gears, shift kit and some other shit..

SOme dubious drivign indeed it seems..

arent mustang GT"s rated at about mid / low 13's?

i woudlnt think the srt 4 would keep up w/out stg 2

maybe it was the auto that was shitty

your a little off. 14.0 at 100 is what mt drove the 99 to. some run high 13's some run mid 14's. driver, track prep, weather, and elevation plays a roll in what your car will run.
