Nice numbers and impressive. Its not quite fair though if you have a stock srt racing a ss/tc with a tune and bumpin up the psi. That isnt stock for stock. It seems like your failing to understand that. Turn the srt's boost up and a tune itd probably be even or the srt would probably pull away

^True...Our cars run 58 PSI for fuel pressure and this car runs 2200 PSI? I didn't know NASA was going to put the cobalt into orbit with that much pressure running through the fuel system.

I just had an 09 balt for dinner going to the olive garden with my wife. Some kid thought his car was fast. But it wasn't a fair fight, my car puts down 385whp and 400 torque with my Delta 44. Kinda like the video don't you think!

It pretty much atomizes the fuel for a good burn. The VW GTI has extremely high fuel pressure for this as well if i'm not mistaken.

Keep in mine 6 years and 2 tries (ss/sc and ss/tc)
And Dodge got one try that today it's eating every other asses. Plus the csrt4 that is putting 500 to the wheels with stock internals. Try that with the slobalt to see what happens.

isnt that almost the same hp numbers the csrt-4 puts out stock. and with the mopar stage 1 for $400 its at like 330 hp. just saying

im sorry but the whole premise of that video is completely full of bullshit. very nice numbers for a car running more boost and with a tune but to compare to a car running stock boost with no tune is retarded..seriously . it doesnt matter if the other car was an srt4 or a camry.

in that first run is it me or does anyone else hear the boost leak when the srt comes into spool? it had that high pitch whistle you usually get when the compressor discharge coupler is loose

Stock Cobalt ss, is the way it comes from the dealer, not with a tune! So you cant say stock if its tuned :

They're pretty new and some are already getting pretty close to those numbers.

I'm seriously thinking about grabbing the sedan version in a year or so. 22/30 mpg, that much HP with a tune, decent handling, .92 skidpad, and brakes about as good as an EVO. That's not a bad deal at all.
