Default woo hoo!! our emspro'd SRT4 went to the track...

Made a handful of passes in the 12.1 sec, 120mph range.

We added 2 degrees of timing up on top, and it rewarded us with a 11.995 @ 122mph!

I'll ask the owner to post up details, all I know is it's a Hahn 20g kit with stock internals, a nice open exhaust (no cats)... and 24psi of boost.

We took video, wil have that up shortly.

Here's a video of the tuning progress that the guys at the shop took while we installed and tuned the car: http://youtube.com/watch?v=yuxH8FarsOw

Default street legals at fontana

i was there with the car dieselgeek is talking about. first off lets clarify a couple of things. we were running 26lbs of boost. and the time was 11.955.

the first run up we were grudged up against a 04-05 super charged GTO, pretty nice car but just a little heavy. we didnt know what to expect due to our traction issues we have been having with the car and we didnt have the money nor the time to go out and get bigger slicks and the traction bars, so anyways back on topic so we lined up and were off. now we were in trouble because we had a huge traction problem and the GTO was walking us off the line like we werent doin anything but wait, here we come right up beside him and took hime by a couple of cars. time for that rune was 12.167.

by the second run we had added some psi to the slicks. we went up against a really nice RX-7. awesome car, it was the only one there and had a crowd around it all day i know this because that is my other friend,(bump for josh, even though he got screwed over by the track staff) the 7 wasnt heavily modded but it ran good. we ran a 12.136 on this one.

got back to the pits and was just going over what else we could do to the tune or the car so we would be able to breeak the 12's.

right before we were up again scott (dieselgeek) had called me to see how we were doin. like he said he had me put 2 degrees in at the top. i also had finally figured out the right tire pressure with some help from my buddies dad. (he had preicted 11's early and we were trying). so we were up and we got beat on this run but this is also the run we hit 11.955. this is awesome shit. we were all estatic jumping up and down, i think we all had some sort of heat stroke yesterday too, we had worked on this car all week trying to get it done and it was finally done saturday morning right before we got ready to go to the track.

one more thing to add is that none of us had any sleep for over 30 hours so for us to pull this out of our asses basically we were too happy to car about anything in the world.

this is the first srt4 i know of in southern california to hit the 11's on a stock block (no internals), basically bolts but smart ones (no we are no giving up the list of parts we have put on the car sorry guys its our secret and we are keeping it) but i will tell you that this is also the first eMS-pro'ed srt 4 in the world. "a tune is like a painting" scott clark. heres a big bump for scott and his skills of tunig and teaching me what to look for.

we will be out at fontana in august so if your there come by and see us. the hood will not be opened at all but we will answer any of your questions about the eMS- pro engine management system.

Awesome work guys! I wish I still had time to play with the car, but I've just been too busy. You guys could probably help me out with my problem one of these days. Anyways congrats.

Just an update... even though I'm only running a standard MS, the code has been running flawlessly. There seems to be a hiccup at 225o rpms, but I believe it to be a fuel issue (mechanical) since its going it on the stock PCM as well. But I am making solid power through the entire power band with enough power to still smack the shit out of my friends 600rr
