Just got down here to my parent's house down here in Florida and it's about that time. I appreciate all the help I've gotten from you guys so far, so I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.
good news Adam, we have an SRT4 with some mods, here in Ontario Calif. that we're installing an EMSPRO on this weekend. Early next week we'll have a wiring diagram posted to our website which should make it easier for you...
if you have questions before then, post here or on the spectre forums (spectreperformance.com) and we'll answer you as quickly as possible,
When this week? Do you already have a wiring diagram that you can email to me, perhaps?
the install is halfway done, we'll be tuning it tonight. I took pictures and made a wiring diagram for you. Stay tuned, I will have good info tonight or tomorrow morning.
We have a mustang dyno at our shop, we did a baseline pull and the car made 271 whp. On a dynojet, or dynapack, this would equate to 311whp. Car was going into knock retard BADLY. This was on CA pump gas. Car is running the returnless system which seems to be running out of fuel at high RPM, he was starting to go uncomfortable lean. We'll PROBABLY install a return system on it today.
Update, the system is installed and running great...
We've load-cell tuned to 5000rpm. On our Mustang MD1750 dyno so far we're making 285whp and 345 wtq, at 4800rpm. AFRs were 10.8:1 and started misfiring a bit at the end of that pull. I have been removing fuel with each higher RPM pull, and this is at 20psi on 91 octane CA gas. We are at 13 degrees of timing by this point, and there is no sign of detonation on the plugs. It's waking up as we add timing and correct the AFRs...
So far so good!! the only gripe is, this car still has a returnless fuel system and the fuel pressure is taking 2+ sec to build during cranking. Should solve that when the ems takes over fuel pump duties this week.
Okay, we got our ems-pro running happily on an 04 SRT4!
On our mustang dyno, we made 313whp and 368wtq. Remember, those are lower numbers than "dynojet/dynapac/inexpensive dyno"
We took video, and we're working on a wiring howto that'll apply to MSEFI users also.
We found that we did NOT need to invert the tach input (the Neon input mod), and our box uses external ignitors (we used an old DSM ignitor) so our spark output is NOT inverted, unlike those of you using VB921s.
Sounds F-in great! I have a big nasty turbo along with nitrous that will NEED this management. The turbo's on, the new clutch is in, all that's left now is the eMS-Pro and the DIS-2. Let me know what the link is for the info, or email it to me if you can. Thanks for the assist, dude, and congratulations on the '04! Get back at me!
I'm writing the HOWTO today! sit tight. Car runs perfectly, you guys on this board owe a lot to guys like boost junkie - his work is a big reason why we're all able to do this kind thing affordably...!

yesterday the car scott (dieselgeek) is talking about went 11.955 in 100 degrees weather. this is a car with bolt ons no internal work done. needless to say the eMS-pro did its job by far, what i mean by this is that it brought all the HP out that the parts are suppose to produce. this is a must in my book for this car if your trying to get all your horsepower and put it to use.
That's great news. What kinda setup was the guy running? I know you guys said all bolt ons, but is he still on the stock turbo? Was that time on slicks or drag radials? Last of all, when can we look forward to the how-to?

the how to should be almost done, sorry for it taking so much time.
bigger turbo ect.
we are not able to get any traction on drag radials so we run the slicks.
