Default New info about the hiccup

OK, guys. I've nailed down a little more info.

Symptoms:
Hiccup at arbitrary RPMs, more common at certain VE points as well as RPM.
Aftermarket tach running off of the coil pack wiring dives during hiccups, leading me to believe it's spark related, not fuel related.

New info:
I recently switched to Low-Z injectors. 1680cc to be exact. I haven't tested them with a multimeter yet, so I don't know the exact impedance. Changing to these injectors has increased the frequency of the occurance dramatically, to the point that it's difficult to drive the car. Tach still dives during hiccups. I have played with the opening times, as well as current limits quite a bit, and changing either variable does not change the frequency of these events.

Still running MS1, V3, Boost Junkie's most recent NGC code. No high-res.

Shawn, does this info help you look for the problem?

It sounds exactly like the tach spike issue that affect every other MS out there. It's usually caused by poor grounds or other electrical noise.

So it makes sense that it would happen more after changing over to low-z injectors?

Indeed it does. There's a lot more load on the board with low-Z injectors. I strongly suggest getting the PWM board or using a resistor box.

SRT S1's are low impedance right? I always get confused on that...

Just about all OEM injectors are high-impedance nowadays...

Ok so im understanding everything im reading...
S1's are highs but since I have the V3 board with the flyback board I dont need anything else but to hook them up. Im assuming I have to run the high res code too huh?

You don't need anything special to run high-impedance injectors. You don't have to run the high res code either. However, it will run better with it.
