I HAVE the hiccup and HAVE the ASD bypassed. MegasquirtPR said that he confirmed different timing using different crank angle numbers. I am taking the car out tonight, so hopefully this can help narrow it down. Casper, we should meet up sometime since we are both in jersey and try and narrow it down. I'm at the shop M-F pretty much 8-6. It's in south plainfield (N2MB).

no hiccup here....everything engine related is run through a custom harness and my own system of fuses...with just a couple wires from the stock harness, also a 1st gen to add to the confusion

vschaos- you don't have the ASD bypassed AFAIK. Dave was letting the computer run things I believe.

yes, acceleration(and deceleration) is completely smooth with no hiccups according to both driving and my datalogs(although the exhaust crackles a bit when I let off the gas, I think I need to increase my return line size...its much too small)....cruising is another matter, but I think thats a tuning issue I will need to work out

p.s. I removed the stock computer completely

disclaimer: i havnt run ms but i wired my srt4 swap from scratch. however, the asd will light up whenever the key is in the on position. bypassing asd relay would just make the car easier to steal imo.
