Default MSQ file? (MS2)

Anyone got an MSQ file for MS2 running? I'm switching over to MS2, and I'm too lazy to input everything. I just want to start tuning right away.

I'll post one of boost's site. Give me a couple days to do it. I'm in the middle of a few things.

I'm running Extra code... so get the latest extra burned into your CPU if you're going to use my MSQ.

I'm 50 trim'd, and RC750'd up... Are you running a simular setup?

I'm on a built 2.0 NGC, SOHC, 16g, 1680cc injectors. So really my setup is nothing like yours. But I can tune. It's arguing with making it read RPM that is annoying me.

Eventually I will be upgrading to the MS2, but for now I will keep the current HR I have. Just havent had the car running hardly. Soon though it will be running after parts are put on. I was 50 trim, but now have a 35R with GT40 wheel...so bigger turbo, but same sized injectors.

BTW, NightRider, your info was great. Solved all my problems. I drove it to the grocery store last night to get spaghetti and hot dogs. Thanks a million. Once I get it dialed in a little more, I'll send it over to have Boost Junkie put it in his DB.

Alright... cool... I'm glad to hear it worked out for you.

There is newer code and MSQ than what I gave you; but I knew that combination would work w/o any problems.

It's even better once you get it dialed in. Enjoy!

Yea, I tried firmware from January, as well as the new RC1b, and neither responded. The firmware from November that you emailed me worked like a charm. I presume all my problems were in broken code that went unnoticed since I'm only the 3rd NGC engine on MS2, and the 1st 2.0 NGC engine on it.

Btw, without barometric correction on, the tune was much more manageable.

Honestly, I never tried it w/o it because I do have the stand alone baro sensor. I still think the tune that I have currently with it is very smooth.

Also, I'm currently running the RC1b code and it runs great. The thing is, I had to start from scratch again. All I could take from the MSQ I sent you were the Fuel, AFR and Spark tables. When I tried to Open the MSQ I sent you and burn it with the new code, I got too many errors, and my fuel table was totally off.

Now that I think about it, I think I mostly redid the tables too while I was at it... I forget.

But now it runs great as well. Honeslty, I don't see the big difference or gain to switch from what I gave you to the RC1b code. I did it mainly because I can never leave well enough alone and I find myself constantly looking for improvements. So... if you wanted to; you could use the RC1b code. I haven't found a real improvement or added feature that I would use or need. I did the upgrade in conjuction with the P3 version of MegaTune. (also another useless upgrade)

That's really strange. The first few seconds I was cranking with the older version, I couldn't get RPM, but then the very next crank, I was getting it. With all the playing with RC1b, I couldn't get it to read. I don't think I changed much. I don't remember. Captain Morgan is influencing my memory right now. (Yarr, matey!) But I might try loading the new firmware, and forcing the existing MSQ into it if I can. Then I'll go back and check things over to make sure nothing is corrupted that's important.

Arg, indeed! LoL

I'm going to post my RC1b MSQ on boost's page soon. Keep an eye out for it if you'd like to use it.
