On that page for RS Autosport that you just posted it listed these features
--------------------------------------------------------------
Standard features of the Super420A include:
Outputs:
# Dual high-current ignition outputs, for direct control of your coil pack
# Dual bank high or low-impedance injector outputs, with no need for a resistor pack
# Cooling fan relay control output (2.5A max.)
# PWM boost control solenoid output (2.5A max.)
# Shift light output (2.5A max.)
# Fast idle/PWM IAC output (1.5A max.)
# Tachometer signal output (0.5A max.)
# All three 2.5A outputs and the fast idle output are fully overcurrent and short-circuit protected, are self-resetting, and are configurable as general-purpose outputs in MegaTune
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, is there a guide to wiring up some of those options? Like the
-# Cooling fan relay control output (2.5A max.)
-# Shift light output (2.5A max.)
-# Tachometer signal output (0.5A max.)
-# PWM boost control solenoid output (2.5A max.)
If you don't understand how to wire up a light bulb or a LED(AKA: Shift Light), then I don't think wiring up your own MS and tuning it is for you...
If you're just wanting a pinout of the DB-37 on the MS, RS-auto will provide it with the unit.

I already built my MS.
It's not that I don't know how. It is just that I built my MS (MS1 v3.0) months ago (actually going on a year) and I just put it on the shelf, because nothing was really progressing here, and I definitely did not have the experience to jump in and try to get it working on an srt.
So from that link I guess that means that it is already built into the MSNS-E code?
I just didn't know if rs autosports was adding extra features/components and I would have to make some mod's to get a shift light, etc... to be an option on mine.
I guess that is just my in-experience with MS poking its head again. I know once I get my hands on this little bastard and it is on the car I will ask intelligent questions, I promise Damn it sucks being a newb at stuff.
RS Autosport has added the necessary circuits to run these optional outputs which are already a part of the MSnSE code. You can purchase these separate circuit components and install them yourself if you'd like. I would at least do the fan control circuit as it will most definately come in very handy.

See that is what I am trying to find out.
So with the basic MS1 v3.0 kit you need additional parts in order to be able to utilize those features, right?
Where can I find info on the specifics parts and a diagram (not a technical schematic drawing) on how to make the necessary mods to the board for these features?
OK, for anyone that was following my progress, my 6600 RPM wall was caused by lack of timing advance. I tuned the spark table a bit tonight, and it was very happy to make 7200 happen.

For the fan control circuit I just went with diyautotune.com They also have a good explanation of what needs to be done and pictures for the impaired like me. Have you used a stim to confirm the function of your MS? If not that would be the first thing I would do before any further modification.

Yeah I played with it on the stim.
Well, I played with the knobs and stuff, but I didn't follow any type of "testing sequence" or certain steps to check.
Is there a proper set of steps I should do to ensure everything is fine?
I finally got the new Super 420A MS in the mail. Things are much different internally with the new daughter board. I'm definately going to utilize the boost control and table switching functions this time around. I haven't had a chance to reinstall everything just yet, but I did get to hook up the stim and everything seems fine. I do need to find out what the default Coolant related air density settings are though. Everything was completely blank in Megatune. Not sure why. Hook a brotha up!
Well it will be a few more weeks until my turbo is built I wanted to ask though. Since most of the wiring is wired into the MS now how does that effect my aeroforce guage from reading knock? Does it effect it at all? I was leaving the guage plugged into my OBD port so it can still read for knock and was never seeing any at all while I was getting car tuned. This is good of coarse, but was just curious if it still is reading it? I know we didnt cut the wires going to the knock sensor so it should still be reading it. What has me thinking is since the pcm has no control over the timing, etc does it still react and read when knock is present?
