oh yea, we need a serious, no bullshit discussion thread on developping base maps and information on it. I know sour krout is planning on it too, but we could run one in my forum so that I can keep all the bs out of it (though we are known for postwhoring ALOT down there lol)
I'll wait to see what sour wants to do. I'm not sure what kinda rules he has to follow in here, my forum is mine and I can be a dickhead if i want to and delete anything I don't think is relevant LOL
yes, you can run the megasquirt off of a trigger wheel, and there's various different softwares to do it with, like edis and a few others. Question is... why when we got the factory crank signal working?
Yeah, it would be nice to start a MegaSquirt sticky since it's starting to take notice and also since sour krout is also going to test this setup. Otherwise we can do it on your forum glacious or take it to 4mation. i dont see any problem here though

Just a, for my information, question. I ask, because if you can cut off the trigger sensor wheel from the crank, you can lighten it about 7-10lbs more

you really think the factory crank trigger weighs that much? I won't lie, I haven't had my motor apart in front of me on this car yet
