also the cool part about the GM CLT sensor is it screws into the stock location, or at least it does on the 1st gen neons

Now someone said I would need a 60-2 wheel, the guy said I shouldn't use the 36 tooth wheel, what determines that?

And what diameter should I get? I have seen all kinds of sizes of 60-2 wheels.

Take the wheel/sensor from an old neon. They have that up and running complete now.

???

Okay you lost me. You mean the old neon's run a trigger wheel and vr sensor?

Or did you mean the srt4's can use the same trigger wheel setup that the old neon's run for standalone's? If so, what setup is that and where do I get it?

I have seen trigger wheels one Ebay but they just list sizes, I haven't been able to find anywhere that says "this size for this car/setup" (I haven't even seen any trigger wheels on the MS parts sites)

The SRT wheel works now. You'll have to figure out the trigger points with a generic wheel. Might as well do it with the wheel thats built into the crank.

Bare with me, I am not an idiot just real new to the MS thing. I can't be the only one that is lost (at least I hope not )

Okay, so I figured that using a trigger wheel could bypass what you guys are trying to figure out (the spark part of the MS for the SRT). I thought it would be possible to mount a trigger wheel and vr sensor and use that to determine the spark/timing. Is that not right?

You can but you still have to figure out the trigger teeth, etc. Basically the same thing you have to do with the stock wheel. Might as well just use the stock one.

Read this: http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/ex...tup-wheel.html

It's not just a matter of putting a wheel on.

RS Autosport carries those either crimped to pigtails or with bare terminals.

Mostly just flagging this thread so I can follow it and lend any help I can.

Thanks for the info Steve. You know, that is what I thought, but I guess they are out for now because its not on their page as far as I can see.

Do you already have MSnS running on yours?

I can guarantee that as of this writing they have them in stock

Look under "Connectors" -> "Multec 3.5 Fuel Injector Connector"

No problem. It'll probably be changed to read something like "Multec 3.5 Fuel Injector Connector (Neon, Ford SVT, etc)"

Haha. Us challenged people need blatant labels staring at us in the face. I just ordered a few things tonight, but there was a script saying that none of the things I ordered were in stock in the quantities that I requested. ???

So has anybody had any luck testing this yet? Beyond what I've already done by getting the car to run with the MS controlling the coil pack.

I would go further but I've lost my test car and I haven't spoken to the owner yet about getting it back. I probably won't until mid June after I get back from a trip to Texas. Driving the 3600 mile round trip MS powered btw
