Yep. I should have a built MS in about 1.5 weeks. I missed going to the junkyard this weekend so I will have to hit it next weekend instead (to harvest a spare harness).

I will not be building for huge power, but for E85/flex fuel capability. Only mods will be 650 to 750 cc injectors and PTP WGA (spring mod). -- At least to start.

Bob

quite interesting on the flex fuel portion of it. My only interest is making your car run on some type of fuel

My new cpu should be in tomorrow. The downside is I'll be in new mexico until friday. I got my harness made this weekend and got some measurements on the iat and coolant sensors written down at home so I can drop them into the easytherm software. i'm hoping to have it going Sunday if everything goes well.

Sour Kraut, would you be willing to post a picture of your harness? I'm curious how you solved this problem.

Problem? There is no problem with the wiring harness. If you want a diagram, look here..

I would but I'm in NM and the harness is in IN. If you're wondering about solving the 5 volt supply for a secondary harness, it's simple. You use 3 male and female spade connectors, one at each sensor, so you can connect and disconnect the secondary harness quickly and easily. You can do the same for all the injectors and the coil also.

Problem Statement:
Creation of a cheap wiring harness extension for use with MSnS-E
Assumptions:
Purchase of actual harness connectors not available due to proprietary connector from Dodge
Solution:
(fill in the blank)

Yes I realize he just went out the yard and pulled the parts off of a junker, however, I'd like to see what his looks like now that he has everything put together. Lets just call it a visualization option.

There are multiple ways to make this harness and someone who has done it (without ripping into the stock harness, which I'm not willing to do while there is still warranty left on it) might have come up with some ideas that I might not think of... Or something he does might cause me to come up with some ideas as to how it can be improved.

(Irritated as mine is sick at Dodge with an overheating problem that is likely caused by a broken thermostat, which they ignored all day)

Gah! Oh well, guess I can live without pictures. I'm having trouble imagining this just from words though.

I didn't have to go to the junkyard because I had a complete spare harness from my old motor. My art skills suck, but I'll see about drawing something up and posting it tonight.

Should I just pull all unused pins out of my harness and set it up at the per the neon diagram, or do I have to ground all the other wires?
