the only way this would really be possible is if you completely wied the ms up by itself.....then rigged 4 injectors and a coil pack and some how stimulated a load on them to act like the rpms and all were gong up and down....then you would have to have a map clamp so the pcm wouldn t see the extra boost plus if you decided to rev over stock you would have problem with it throwing a code(maybe not sure) on it seeing the higher rpm's......not even the aem unit is that complex......they have a cel light on all the time too
I intend on trying this. I am invisioning a megasquirt running the coils and the injectors. But let the stock ecu see the rpm and a map sensor that just reads atmosphere then a resistor for tps and posibly resistors for the four injectors and the two coil packs. The check engine light does piss me off it it comes on but I like to have it to daignos other problems so I want it in working order if possible. One more thing are you guys trigering the coils right off the megasquirt?
injectors are too complicated to just put a single resistor in there, you need to have an actual injector. i might try something, but i just havent had time. the injector code is the easy one to get rid of, its the coil pack that will be a bitch...unless you get the tach adaptor for the msd and then it will work

I posted my SRT4's msq for MS1 Extra. It's not a GREAT tune because I didn't want to spend a ton of time on it knowing I'd be switching over to MS2 Extra.

But it works... And it should be a great starting place for people with those very common SRT4 mods. It will get you beating around the city under 10 psi.

Default MS2-Extra 36-2+2

So a year later, and everyone knows that MS1 works well with NGC.

I don't see too many people posting success or complaints about MS2? Have many/any of you gone from MS1 to MS2?

If so, could you please post your observations in this thread: MSx/Extra EFI • Login

MS1 had a good amount of users that converted over and tested the code. We need more people to test out the native NGC wheel in MS2 (36-2+2) as well. I only know of three people so far that are using it (Pimp-daddy-patty, Racerstev and myself). RacerStev and I have had to adjust the ignition timing from where the wheel code says it should be. I would guess this is a problem with the wheel's code because if it was written properly, no trigger wheel adjustment should be required.

More testers will give us a larger test sample so the people writing the code will know for sure if it is correct, or just an anomaly in one person's setup.

If you're running MS2-Extra on an NGC, I implore you to post your results in the thread above.
