Default HIDs (noise) + MS = ??

ok well i will be buying a hid kit soon, and ive heard that these bad boys cause a lot of noise that will mess with your radio and stuff. my question is what will this noise have on the megasquirt? is there a way to shield it better. i just dont want to feel all cool with my new hids, and turn my headlights on just to have my car run like crap or shut off or something

I doubt anyone has tried it yet. Just make sure your grounds are really good.

If you have crap HID's then you might experience some noise. If the MS is in the cabin then you really shouldnt have any problems. Just make sure that you dont run the wires over the balast (to be safe). I had HID's running with my MS
