Default Cant find drain on my neon, found a solution....???

Hi guys, car is a 99 Neon 2.0L turbo with MegaSquirt1 and there is a drain on the accessories, can't find exactly where so just running the accessories on key 1. it's my track car so I dont care much about the radio settings.

What I do care about is that everytime I remove the battery the MS1 takes time before it lights up, like some kind of wake-up mode. Does the MS1 always have to have power memory going to it?

And if it does need power/ground....which wires should I connect

I dont believe there are any wires that are part of a keep alive mem. Also it should not take time to light up the MS it should as soon as it gets 12v. I would test the power and ground source to the MS and turn the key on, verify 12v instantly! If not move to a good source hope that helps!

Check the relay box under the hood it could be the ignition fure is bad. I had the same problem and had to replace the box itself even tho the fuse was good.
