ok so the car wont start....the fuel pump kicks on i try to start it and it just cranks.......i had a spare harness laying around and i hacked the injector and coil pack harness off it when i wired this up so i could just hook the stock ones back up when i needed to go for emmisions here in a few months....but there was 3 wires on it and the book says 1 is for the 1-4 wires and 1 is for the 2-3 wires and the other one is some kind of spark cut relay.....would this cause my problem because i dont have that hooked up.....it has the srt base map in it for stock injectors because thats whats in it right now....my 750's are at deatch works getting cleaned.....some help would be appreciated guys
where did you get this ngc base map from, i havent heard of one. for the wiring, you need to splice into the tps, ckp, power from somewhere, and you need to wire up 4 injectors obviously and there are 2 wires for spark.

its all wired up with all the info i found on here....the injectors, crank trigger is run off the 5v from the ms, the fuel pump is activated off the ms, the only thing i couldnt find is the stuff on the coil pack.....most coil packs are grounded and i didnt know if thats 3rd(middle wire) on the coid pack was a ground.....this ms was just ordered from rs about 2 months ago and id came with a 2.4 and 2.0 base map msq for start up on stock injectors
edit........the only thng i didnt hook up to the ms is the iac motor

the coil pack has 3 wires. the middle is a 12v supply and you need to be on the outside wires i believe. the way the ms works is that it just grounds things. so when it grounds the wire, current goes through the coil pack to the plug and you have spark
if you are trying to activate the fuel pump from MS, it wont work unless you wire it through a relay....are you even sure you are getting fuel at the rail? you say the fuel pump kicks on...are you sure? when I first hooked mine up, the fuel pump would prime, but wouldnt stay running until I rewired it, first you need to make sure you are getting fuel when cranking....my favorite way of doing this(though maybe not the safest) is to pull the rail and hold it with the injectors about half an inch from the ports while someone else cranks...so you can personally see the injectors opening and closing. If you have fuel, then its on to the spark test, disconnect a plug wire from the plug and place that end near to some metal on the engine(do not hold this wire...just lay it somewhere where you can see the spark jump) then crank the engine and make sure you have a strong steady spark, if you have both fuel and spark, the only thing left(other than air, but I have never found air to be a problem) is timing....what msq are you using? what are your wheel decoder settings?
i have an electric fuel pressure gauge in cabin.....yes i have fuel pressure at the rail.....i need to find a better msq i believe to start it because i just tried and it just made a huge gun pop out the exhaust
well you might have switched the coil wires. i messed that up when i was first hooking mine up, and it wouldnt start. i swapped my 1&2 plugs and my 3&4 plugs and it started up so i had to resolder the wires. not sure if thats the safest thing to do, so im not respolsible if the car blows up haha
no mine is a msq problem......and it seems that everyone i pm and ask for some help gives me some generic answer im not looking for......i just want to know which program to download that has the proper settings in it so the car will start up so i can load my timing and fuel map i have calculated for my 750's and 60-1.......but i just have the stock injectors in it for a start up
do you know if it is a fuel or spark problem? can you post a screenshot of your cranking pw table and also your wheel settings table
see what i need is an msq file that i can load and then someone to help me run down thru all the needed screens and make sure everything is right.....i am having the worst luck trying to get a good msq to load in mine for some reason and the link boost sent me dosent help me at all

could try taking one of the AEM maps and using that to get started.

read the bolt print......after that gets done then i am going to load someone's aem map into it that is very similar setup to mine
