Default Assistance with Timing advance

Hey all. this is the timing I have. I am told it is quite conservative, and I am looking to get it closer to on-the-stock-side for timing.

at one point, I found on these forums the stock SRT maps, but it has been a while, and I have not been able to re-find these in the last hour. Advice?

AFAIK this is a stock timing map someone posted, its not MS format but you can use the info. Its an AEM map.

Do you have a stock SRT4 motor? What kind of octane gas do you plan to run? These things will help you decide where to go when adjusting the map

I do have a stock SRT motor with Megasquirt and bigger injectors. I plan on running 92 octane.

zeeboid,

Slowly advancing your timing. Do not just jump and start using a lot of timing like you may see on that table. That's where I started, and have advanced it further from there. All the advance was working for me when it was cooler (here in Michigan), but now as the weather warms up, I'm noticing more knock and as a result, I've pulled ~5-10 degrees of timing from what I was running before. In some areas I have less timing now than what you see on that table.

Just my $0.02
