97 Dohc with Symtech MS no start!!! HELP - SRT Forums

Hey guys,

May be someone can help me. I got Megasquirt II unit from Symtech Labs, I installed it, all sensors rear on laptop but rpm. I have no spark, i have 8 volts to crank sensor but still nothing, it just cranks and cranks. I changed the crank sensor and still nothing. Ive gone through the wire diags from RS autosport and Symtech many of times. The middle LED on the MS flickers when to turn the ignition on. Every sensor but coil and injectors are ran by the megasquirt and powered by the stock ecu. I have tapped into crank sensor, tps, map. Injectors signals wires are to MS same with coil. What can be wrong???? Im sooo stumped. Its an all motor build if anyone is asking.

It's definitely in the crank position. Do you have it set to the 420a crank wheel?

Hey guys,

K I had the car running the other day, and cant get it to run again. I have fuel and spark. The car wants to run but its just not there yet, you can hear it ready to fire up but not. It farts out the exhaust after cranking. The timing sounds way off "spark" that is. Its an all motor, crane 24's, wisecos, eagle rods and much much more.

Any suggestions?
