The problem with the hiccup is you never know when it's going to pop up, so it's damn near impossible to catch in a datalog. So I don't even really know what RPM I'm at when it happens, cuz by the time I look down, I'm nowhere near that RPM anymore.
So it's not repeatable to get it on a datalog? Can you just start the log then drive around?
Is it only under certain conditions? Accelerating? Decelerating? Cruise? Boost?
mine is dead on at 2250 rpms. I can def catch it on a datalog, i just need to get my laptop running again. Mine could very well be related to something else though, because I still get crazy hiccups when running the factory PCM, but the one on the MS jerks my car around where as the factory PCM problem just runs the car lean and doesnt jerk
I am STILL waiting on parts although I never have had the hiccups your speaking of. I have had them at higher rpm while tuning, but that was mainly due to not enough fuel or timing. Maybe its when your MS makes the transition from cold to hot maybe?

Also I had a stage 2 pcm on my car, but opted to switch back to my stocker. It idled alot better going from the stage 2 to the stocker....just a FYI for anyone.
I'm on AEM and I have one at 2000rpm. Pretty sure the FPR causes it. Fucking with the pressure raises and lowers it in the RPM band.
We have tested countless AEM units with Aeromotive FPR's. If you are getting a stumble/hesitation that moves up and down with adjustment in fuel pressure, then I would seriously check over your tune.
As for the MS... i'm pretty sure its code related, in fact, now i know its code related, because for shits sake, I raised fuel pressure up to 50psi and went for a drive and through the entire rpm band its running 12.0 and under except -+200 rpms of 2250, 2250 being uncontrollable bucking of the car. This was something i noticed even from the very begining of this project over a year ago.
well tried to take a datalog, and i went for a long drive, but my ms decided to crap out and i looked at the datalog and aparetly my rpms went to 9000 at one point, which ddnt happen. also i almost died while cruising so maybe ill try again later lol
Has anyone tried the hi-res code? I would be interested if it did the hiccup in that code too...
I am not sure what code I have on mine...it was whatever you gave me awhile back. I do not remember any hiccups down low. I do remember hiccups in the higher portion of the power band, but think that has to do with spark and fuel. I still have no parts for my car so havent been able to do testing for 4 months now.
