1) it should be linear. try powering that and the ms from the same place, also ground at the same place. not sure why but that fixes it.
2) im sure you can, you just need to get the values for it
3)what spark angle are you running at idle. and whats your ve value at idle
1...no i mean when you first install the mega tune software it asks which wideband you use......there is many options and i thing i loaded the wrong one.....but i unloaded it and loaded a diffrent one and it was closer to the gauge but not 100%
3...11 degree's at idle......ve i have tried everything from 40 thru 5
1) still try to power and ground from the same place. for some reason the guege doesnt work right on the megatune. not sure why, but it does.
3) i have no idea then. is it the aem that says 11s or the megatune. also, this is prob a stupid question, but when you are changing the numbers in the ve table as you idle, you tab out of the box right?
what does the power and ground off the 2 have anything to do with the reading?....with one setting i had they were a whole point off and with this new one they are .5 off....just kinda bugs me....
in the installation guide it says to use the same ground for the o2 gauge I would assume that the extra resistance the O2 sensor sees compared to the megasquirt could possibly cause the the difference in the readings why not just eliminate it as a possibility by grounding them to the same spot
I do understand your your thought process I kinda have the same thoughts as you I don't think it will have any affects on the readings causing them to be different from each other but I am not an electrical engineer nor did I help design the MS or the wide band but personally wouldn't wanna chance it either having them hooked up in conflict with each other

ok its good that you figured it out. not sure why it was happening, but at least on mine, and ive heard others with the same problem, but if the ground was not the same, it read differently for some reason. no idea why though it was just an aem wideband thing
My grounds are in different spots and mine reads fine. I think you just need to make sure both MS and your wide band are grounded well.
As for your idle problem you sure you are adjusting all the boxes around where your idle is located? You need to lean out the general area in the VE table, then fine tune later.

as i said in my previous post becaus i use an aem wideband i had to change the setting in the megatune and i found it in the manual
you know i thought you adjusted the values at redline
yes i was doing it in the area at idle that has the blue box
okso i have been playing with the car and it still will not idle properly......i can finally get the a/fr's to change by changing the values....but then it sits there and either corrects itself back down to 10.0 at idle......or it will dip into the 18's and idle like complete crap.....does this with both my 750's and stock injectors.....and even there was one time i got it to idle at a high 14 and it still idled like crap......what the heck is going on with this thing.....i really need someone that can send me a working msq for 750's and see if that corrects this crap
it may be the stock iac messing things up. it goes crazy when its not running the spark, but if you have your a/f at idle a little rich like 13-14 it sould be fine, but make sure all teh boxes around idle are the same
