Well I am still contemplating on what to get. I found a SCT PRP kit for $600, but the guy has not responded to me. I was using a megasquirt as my tuning device, but now am getting rid of it. With that said I am having to wire back up a few things to stock so I can use either. What I am wondering is since I have stock map and tip sensors I know for sure the MAP will need to be upgraded. I have read in here that the 3bar mopar sensor is not the best one to get? I remember somewhere that RAGE was selling an upgraded MAP sensor, but does anyone else sell one? I called and left msg for RAGE, but never heard anything back so figured I would go elsewhere looking for a MAP sensor. Since I have a electronic boost controller I didnt need a TIP sensor if I was to go SCT....is that the same case with the AEM? Meaning is it better to go pcm controlled or outboard control? I would assume outboard, but thats why I am asking.
I am just trying to decide which one to get..sct or aem. I have experience with the SCT and have tuned some mustangs with it. Although I have not touched an AEM I have heard they are really easy to get to know and learn. Plus it looks like people here are in a more "sharing" mood then most of the SCT guys. There are only a few SCT guys who are helpful and not there to "cash in" on others tunes.
I'm running a stage 2 MAP sensor without any problems. You don't really need anything bigger until you're boosting over 29psi.
I wouldn't cheap out on something like this. the EMS has been around for many years for the SRT and the bugs have already been worked out by several people. Seems to me that SCT is harder to use, although I haven't used it.

Well I have GT35R with GT40 wheel. Only looking to be around 25psi for now until my tranny and motor get done.....then looking to do near 30psi or so. Yea the stage 2 map sensor is a 3bar map sensor though....just read in here that it isnt as good as "others", but I am wondering where the others are to purchase.
From what I've read the Mopar Stage II MAP sensor is not an issue. The alternative is the AEM MAP and Nemo has a AEM billet MAP adapter........buts its not an absolute need to go along with the AEM sensor. The AEM MAP sensor can be purchased from any AEM EMS authorized reseller so it should not be a hard item to find.
IMO stick with the Mopar MAP sensor and switch it out if you having issues and its proven to BE the issue. You can always Add in the AEM MAP and Nemo sensor adapter afterwards.
I'm using my zeitronix map sensor, which just so happens to be the exact same thing as the aem. If you happen to go the aem route, I'm getting pretty good at tuning mine. Since your semi-local I can help you out if you need it.
