Default two issues

1. i am trying to keep the decel. from the pops and burbs because on the two bottom sets of cells, instead of adding fuel like jay said to ,on one of the other threads, i find myself having to keep the a/f on the lean side(13-16) to get them. so i would rather not have the car leaning out that much(don't know if that is good or not) so i i set the following options to shut off the injectors, and the reason for the % being so low is because if i raise it any further, the car continues to shut off when i try to start it
fuel off above 1200
fuel off below -10.01 psi
fuel off below 1.17 %
fuel off coolant 0

2. now all of a sudden it takes the car like 20 cranks to get the car to start with the following settings.
in other words, the car only responds well when the injectors stay on. jay did the tune, but i could never get a steady idle, ever. i can't seem to get the car to idle lower than 1000

i keep my off tps % just above what the TPS V is closed

not sure what you want to do

you want the pops and farts ???????

if so i would raise the fuel off RPM to ...IDK say 3500rpm (it will fart and burp below)

then go into decell pump and raise the decell decay (10-15%)

that will make your car pop ??????

as for the start up, you would need to look at the start maps

try to raise the crank injector time table has enough extra fuel

also check your start retard (crank adv) i use about -2 (make sure its a negative #)

and i use about 1* extra for about 15 sec. on start up

as for the idle just try to lower it (idle target base)

IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ANYTHING DONT TOUCH IT AND ALWAYS SAVE YOUR LAST GOOD TUNE TO FALL BACK ON IF YOU SCREW IT UP

your best bet is to E-mail jay if he tuned your car, with the EMS there are 100 different ways to tune it and everyone uses different stratigys (jays is the best i have seen from the forums)

the problem is that i have been on this tune before he moved to florida(i am in ny)and it had not been a problem. my crank adv. is -1.88 i really did not care for the farts, but like i said i woulld have to llower my tps just to keep the car when starting it. i will check into these.

it might just need to have the TPS 0% lowered below the other factors (or raise the factors)

that is what i did, i just loaded another one i had and it works.. i still have the issue with the idle which is what have been working on for months. it just won't stay idle at all. constantly fluctuating. i can never bring it under 1000 rpm, i have crower stg2 cams set to zero so i should be lower on the idle.
