maybe, sometimes the car would not start and i would trouble shoot and such and it came down to me tapping the aem box with a 3/8 ratchet and it would start right up!

IM thinking it has somthing to do with heat with the aem box. everytime it was really hot outside. 85 plus the car would do it. but at night the car would run awesome!

so im talking with aem and gonna send it back to them, but i will have no car to test it on when i get it back

cal file isnt going to say much other than hey you have too much timing in there..whats more informative would be logs. generally when you throw a rod its because knock loosened the rod caps and they took a shit. tear the motor down and look in the combustion chamber. if you see detonation on the piston and a butterfly shape in the combustion chamber you probably just knocked em loose...whats the cc look like?
